What if Los Angeles could look like this every day?

(And at the same time, fight climate change?)

Introducing
BlueSky LA

A new initiative to make our city one of the cleanest on Earth

BlueSky LA is an ongoing initiative dedicated to funding local projects to drastically improve the air quality of Los Angeles by the 2028 Olympics.

Through projects big and small, from tree planting, urban gardens, compost hubs, cool roofs, green roofs, solar, and many other strategies – Blue Sky LA is building community engagement to support and implement these projects in the communities that suffer the worst air quality, which affects us all.

Get Involved

This plan requires a little from us all, and we’d love to get you involved. Sign up for our newsletter, DM us your thoughts, and donate. If we want the LA to be the City we know it can be, we’ll all have to work for it.

We’ll be announcing more news in the coming months, so please sign up to stay connected on what’s next.

Los Angeles, today.

Los Angeles often ranks in the top 20 of the worst AQI cities globally. With the 2028 Olympics coming to our city, we have an excellent opportunity to change that statistic.

Together, let’s take Los Angeles from one of the worst quality air cities in 2020 to the cleanest air city by the 2028 Olympics! (And, yes, absolutely fight climate change while we’re at it).

Who We Are

BlueSky LA is a partnership between Breathe SoCal and Climate Cents. The issues of air pollution, carbon emissions, and heat are all related, and we believe the challenges facing us will need a collective effort to change LA.
